Annetta South is an incorporated municipality in east Parker County, Texas. It is located southwest of Aledo, and south of Annetta. As of the 2010 census, the city’s population was 847, and its land area was 1.9 square miles.

Annetta South is mostly a residential and agricultural community. Historically, it is part of the Annetta community, which has existed since the late 19th century. However, it was not until 1979 that the area was incorporated as three separate entities, which are the three Annettas. A major reason for their incorporation was the looming threat of Fort Worth annexing the area.

The city is in the 76008 ZIP code and is in the Aledo Independent School District.
